  • 2 apples

  • 200 grams of premium flour "Moara cu Tradiții"

  • 3 eggs 

  • 250 ml of milk

  • Cooking oil for the pan

  • Vanilla/rum essence or cinnamon/grated orange peel, according to preference

  • Salt

  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

  • 5 grams of baking powder

    Preparation method:

    A first step you need to take when you want to prepare this recipe is to make sure you have two medium-sized apples that you grate finely. If you want your dish to be sweeter, you can now add a tablespoon of brown or white sugar and mix it with the sliced apples. Also, make sure to drain the composition before mixing it with the pancake batter, so the texture doesn't become too watery.

    As for the batter, it is prepared in a classic way. Mix the 200 grams of premium flour "Moara cu Tradiții" with a pinch of salt, baking powder, the 3 eggs, and the milk, making sure there are no lumps. You can use a whisk or a mixer. Once the texture is semi-liquid, easily sliding off the ladle, you can add the grated apples (drained). Mix the two products well so that both textures are incorporated. 

    Now is the time to add special flavors according to your preference, such as essences (vanilla/rum) or a teaspoon of cinnamon or grated orange peel. Don't forget to sprinkle a tablespoon of love here, to bring magic to the dish. 

    Finally, sprinkle a few drops of oil in the pan, which you can distribute evenly, and when the pan is hot, ladle our pancakes onto it. The shape we suggest is that of pancakes, but obviously, you can also make traditional pancakes or mini pancakes. 

    Flip them on both sides, and when they are ready, take them out onto a plate. They can be served with honey, powdered sugar, other combinations, or even just plain.
